Food
• Do you provide lunch or dinner?
We don’t provide lunch or dinner at the homestay. The nearest 7-11 or Family Mart convenience stores are situated in downtown Yuli. In the dining area of the homestay we have a simple self-service shop, where snacks, instant noodles, drinks and local specialties handmade by our friends and relatives are available to purchase if desired.
• What is included in the breakfast?
Breakfast is mainly Chinese-style, paired with local Yuli specialty cakes, as well as lots of fruit and vegetables. The food is delicious, natural and healthy, and you even have a chance to sample some of our homegrown vegetables!
• Do you provide a vegetarian breakfast?
Yes we do. When you arrive, please let us know that you request a vegetarian breakfast and also tell us what type of vegetarian you are so we know what foods to include and avoid.
• Does the homestay allow guests to cook in the kitchen?
No, the kitchen is not open for guests to cook in. Due to the open plan nature of the kitchen and the basic facilities, we ask that you do not use the kitchen for your own cooking so as not to disturb other guests.
Accommodation
• If I would like to add an extra person/bed to my booking, what is the additional fee?
We suggest that you book rooms according to the suggested number of people for each room, that way the room will be of comfortable size for you. If you do desire to add people, the additional fee is 500NT for an extra person (including breakfast). (Not all the rooms in the homestay are available for adding people/beds so please do ask the homestay in advance.)
• Can we request an additional duvet?
Additional duvets are available at 200NT per duvet.
• Do you have a spin dryer for clothes?
Yes we do, if you need to use it please ask us, we will assist you.

Transport
• How far is it from the homestay to Yuli town centre? How long will I need to get there?
We are located in the outskirts of Yuli town, the town centre is about 4km away, around 10 minutes by car.
• Does the homestay provide a pick-up and drop-off service to and from Yuli train station?
Yes we do offer this service if it is arranged with us in advance, and it is limited to one round trip for each booking. We are unable to accommodate last minute requests however, and it is convenient to take a taxi from Yuli train station to our home.
• I heard the road leading up to the homestay is very narrow?
The road coming in from the Provincial Highway 9 is not wide, however as you go up the road for about 1km there are numerous points where vehicles are able to pass one another. Also there aren’t many vehicles coming in and out, so don’t worry. Only the small secluded roads have such beautiful scenery and a feeling from being apart from the rest of the world!
• Is there space to park my vehicle?
Yes there is, when you come up the road, you will cross a bridge and see the homestay (pink building). The empty space on your left is the parking lot for Wisdom Garden. You can find a vacant space there to stop and park your vehicle squarely.
Surroundings
• Are there many mosquitoes around the homestay area?
The homestay is located in the embrace of nature, hence some mosquitoes usually appearing during dusk are inevitable. We do not have the forcipomyia taiwana midge here.
• Are there places to take a stroll nearby the homestay?
Yes there are. There are wide expanses of space nearby the homestay. The homestay itself has a plum orchard and a pomelo orchard and you are welcome to take a stroll around. There are also small agricultural paths next to the railway track so you can meander among the rice paddies. The trailhead for Suangan Creek Forest Trail is close to the homestay, the hike is around 4km in distance, looping around to Dayu neighborhood and back.
